Basingstoke Classical Kitchen Extension
- Project Year: 2014
- Project Cost: £100,001 - £150,000
- Country: United Kingdom
Gill and Richard moved into their double fronted, classical home a few years before meeting the MODEL Projects Team. The property is within a conservation area and one of the key objectives of the proposal was to create more space, while sensitively reflecting and not overbearing on the symmetry and design of the existing house. Planning was approved in 2013, and FSG Property Services began work on site in December 2013, completing the project in the Summer of 2014.
The new space is light and open to the fantastic, large sloping rear garden. The functional and extremely useful boot room/ utility room is serviced by a side entrance and the new kitchen/ dining room is a fantastic space to entertain and be with the family.
Model Projects became essential to our kitchen and house redesign. Kathryn and James helped us consolidate our ideas and provided the architectural and structural principles to realise them. They provided a wealth of other ideas that we explored using their 3D design and planning software and we were delighted to get what we wanted and which fully met our expectations .
